I've lived in Victoria for over 7 years, and showing people around is my favourite part of the job. Whether it's a cruise passenger with a few hours to spare or a family here for the week, there's nothing better than watching someone discover the spots that make this city special.

Guests always ask me the same thing at the end of a tour: "Where else should we go?" This site is my answer. Every place on the map and in the places list is somewhere I'd happily send a friend.

Cycling year round

Victoria is one of the best cities in Canada to explore on two wheels, and I ride here in every season. The mild winters mean you can enjoy the waterfront, the parks and the trails in January as easily as in July. Many of my recommendations are on or near a bike route, and the self guided tours are the rides and walks I'd suggest for seeing the city at your own pace.
